We're not looking for plain text articles; instead, we're seeking well-researched, engaging content that educates our customers and provides them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. Our articles are often lengthy, typically ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 words, and may include images, links, quotes from research papers, and expert opinions. We're committed to producing high-quality content that meets the needs of our customers and sets us apart from other organizations in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging, informative, and easy-to-understand content on a wide range of legal topics, including contracts, agreements, e-commerce best practices, and technology trends.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content on time.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure content meets our standards and aligns with our brand voice.
- Participate in revisions and editing to ensure content is polished and error-free.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Native English speaker or English Proficiency qualification: We're looking for writers with strong writing skills and a native command of the English language.
- Exceptional online research skills: You'll need to be able to conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and completeness of content.
- Well-organized and reliable: We're looking for writers who can meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content on time.
- Some degree of technical proficiency: You'll need to be comfortable using Google Docs and other digital tools to collaborate with our team.
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for writers with a strong background in law or a related field, including:
- Legal degree or paralegal experience: A degree in law or paralegal experience is a major plus, but not required.
How We Work
We're a remote team, and we don't require synchronization of time zones. We work over Google Docs and email, and we're committed to providing a flexible and supportive work environment.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, paid every other week in US dollars via PayPal or bank transfer. We also provide author credits and bylines for published work, and we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our writers.
