About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Evening Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for entering information into our AS400 system from Bills of Lading (BOL) scanned at our service centers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time position offering a competitive starting rate of $20 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and career growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Enter BOL information into AS400 for numerous customers in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and correct any errors on BOLs prior to entering the information, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure high production levels while maintaining accuracy, contributing to the overall performance of the team.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, embodying the blithequark spirit of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a solid foundation for your professional journey.
- At least 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in the trucking industry, where you can apply your skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact.
- Knowledge of shipping/transportation documents, enabling you to navigate our systems and processes with ease.
- The ability to type 50 wpm with no errors, demonstrating your proficiency in data entry and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with AS400, our core system for data management, where you will spend a significant amount of your time.
- Accurate typing and spelling skills, ensuring the quality of your work and contributing to the team's overall performance.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, maintaining your focus and productivity.
