Job Summary
As our ideal candidate, you'll have a deep understanding of Amazon's ecosystem and marketplace dynamics, as well as a solid grasp of its marketing levers. You'll leverage your expertise to develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce sales strategy that drives revenue growth, brand awareness, and product demand. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product supply meets Amazon requirements, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and stay up to date with the latest eCommerce trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement eCommerce Sales Strategy: Create a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and brand awareness on Amazon Marketplace and other online sales channels.
- Optimize Product Listings and Sales Performance: Manage and optimize product listings to ensure search visibility and compliance with platform standards.
- Plan and Execute Promotional Trade Budgets & Events: Plan, execute, monitor, and adjust promotional trade budgets and events to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Leverage Amazon Marketing Tools: Utilize Amazon's marketing tools, including sponsored search, display ads, and promotional features like Prime Day, to drive brand awareness and product demand.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment on forecasts, pricing, promotions, inventory levels, and overall strategy.
- Analyze Sales Data and Market Trends: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Stay Up to Date with eCommerce Trends and Technologies: Stay current with the latest eCommerce trends and technologies to ensure our company maintains a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce sales for a diversified CPG product portfolio is required.
- Proven Experience with Amazon Marketplace: Proven experience with Amazon Marketplace, including Amazon Fresh and Vendor Central, is essential.
- Strong Understanding of Sales Analytics: A strong understanding of sales analytics and the ability to use data to drive decision-making is critical.
- Experience with Digital Advertising: Experience with digital advertising, including SEO/SEM and display advertising, is preferred.
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content, are necessary.
- Ability to Work Effectively in a Team-Oriented Environment: The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
