About the Role
As a local Delivery Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes, adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as blithequark's Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane, and deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
- Perform all daily functions in a safe manner, using required Personal Protective Equipment and following all safety protocols.
- Work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including weekends, on-call, and overtime, as needed, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of propane to our customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid class A or B CDL, with willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements (reimbursements provided).
- Acceptable driving record, with a satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the propane industry or a related field, with knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Experience with delivery operations, logistics, and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
