About the Role
As a member of our Borrower Success Team at blithequark, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate our tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for our users. This remote, full-time contractor role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring based on performance and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding blithequark's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, ensuring you can effectively communicate the value of our services to our users.
- Engaging with borrowers via email and live chat, providing empathetic and clear support to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Reviewing and submitting applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Proactively suggesting and implementing ideas and automations that can help scale the team, contributing to the growth and development of our Borrower Success Team.
- Collaborating with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, creating new features and offerings that meet the evolving needs of our borrowers.
- Working closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with our social mission to make a positive impact on the lives of our users.
Recommended Experience and Qualifications
We are seeking teammates with at least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support. A passion for applying your talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue is essential.
