Job Summary
We're seeking highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representatives to join our Caremark Member Operations team at blithequark. As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, addressing their queries and concerns regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. You'll work in a flexible, work-from-home environment, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to simplify the healthcare experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls from members, providing clear and concise information about their pharmacy benefit plans, prescription insurance, and medication coverage.
- Address member inquiries in a patient, helpful manner, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Utilize your knowledge and skills to offer solutions that simplify the healthcare experience for our members.
- Handle a variety of call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific client inquiries.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements.
- Work in a flexible, work-from-home environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
Essential Qualifications
- 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service, or hospitality environment.
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner.
- Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life.
- Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards.
- At least 6 months of healthcare experience.
- Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism.
- Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills.
