Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, engaging with members, understanding their unique needs, and providing personalized support. Your role will involve:
- Responding to a wide range of customer inquiries, from basic to complex, related to claims, eligibility, and benefits.
- Educating members on our plans, tools, and resources to guide them along a clear path to care.
- Resolving issues by phone and triaging rework to the appropriate staff.
- Documenting and tracking contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors.
- Guiding members through their plan benefits, blithequark policy, and procedures, while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Creating an emotional connection with our members by building a trusting and caring relationship.
- Anticipating customer needs and providing related information to answer unasked questions.
- Using our customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions that resolve member issues.
- Explaining member rights and responsibilities in accordance with their contract.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
- Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
- Experience in a production environment.
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in the health care or insurance industry.
- Knowledge of health insurance plans, benefits, and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour. In addition to your compensation, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
