About the Position
This is a 6-month contract position, offering a competitive pay rate of $19.50 per hour. As a remote employee, you will be required to work from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in resolving missed visits or missed supplies by reaching out to providers for status updates and authorizations as needed
- Respond to all Long-Term Care (LTC) calls from members and providers, focusing on one-call resolution and timely responses
- Review and correct authorizations to ensure they match the Primary Care Case Plan (PCCP)
- Triage and route calls correctly, attempting to resolve issues before escalating them to a supervisor or other team members
Performance Expectations
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to meet or exceed the following performance metrics:
- Call Center metrics: Talk time, Hold, Aftercall, and Schedule Adherence scores of 95% or above
- Call Quality scores of 95% or above
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in a managed care or physician's office setting
- Call Center experience is required, with a strong focus on customer service
- Medical terminology knowledge is essential
- Proficient typing skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Windows
- Experience with Long-Term Care (LTC) and Medical Authorization is highly desirable
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
