As the face of our company, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, servicing customers, and acting as a rental backup in a fast-paced airport environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, primarily face-to-face, supporting their branch and rental needs
- Gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, service customers, and act as a rental backup
- Take incoming calls, reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops, and other vendors
- Manage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
- Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner, providing directions and general assistance as needed
- Assist in assessing the condition of rental vehicles upon return, process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions
- Effectively market the company while picking up customers and/or dropping them off in a safe and courteous manner, assisting customers as needed
- Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services to customers
- May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment
- Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and required vehicle maintenance
- Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when needed
- Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, such as research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, and process customer billing
- Perform miscellaneous and backup duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Maintain a high level of customer service skills and a strong work ethic
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Must have worked 12 (twelve) months or more at most recent employer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working late nights preferred
- Previous experience in the automotive rental industry or a related field is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
