Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and certified teachers to join our team as Small Group Intervention Specialists in West Florida. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by providing targeted support and instruction in reading, math, and other essential skills. With part and full-time schedules available, this is an excellent opportunity for new, experienced, and retired teachers alike to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct small groups of students in reading, math, and other essential skills, using a prescribed curriculum and the gradual release model of instruction.
- Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans that address the unique needs and abilities of each student.
- Utilize company-provided curriculum and educational strategies to deliver targeted instruction and support to students.
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines, including student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, and compliance documentation.
- Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences to communicate student progress and address parent concerns.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field.
- Current Florida Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
- Willingness and ability to teach both math and reading/ELA to various grade levels.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred.
- A passion to help students succeed and make a positive impact in their lives.

- Experience working with students who are struggling or at-risk.
- Knowledge of research-based instructional strategies and best practices in education.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.
