Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for providing non-medical home care services to our clients, including meal preparation, bathing, toileting, medication reminders, transfers, light housekeeping, and engaging in meaningful activities. As a Caregiver with ComForCare, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients, their families, and our staff to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical home care services to clients, including meal preparation, bathing, toileting, medication reminders, transfers, light housekeeping, and engaging in meaningful activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in a compassionate and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with our staff, including Registered Nurses and other caregivers, to ensure seamless care and support for our clients
- Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in home care services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care and services provided
- Adhere to ComForCare's policies, procedures, and standards of care, ensuring the highest level of quality and excellence in all aspects of care
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- NJ CHHA License (valid New Jersey State Certified Home Health Aide License)
- Pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Test
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Copy of PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Be fully vaccinated
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following preferred qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and care provision
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain

- Hourly rate: $17.00-$18.00/hr
