The Opportunity This summer, Builders is launching nationwide events and partnerships to ignite our community and celebrate America's 250th anniversary. This role will be critical in translating strategy into execution by pitching and securing partnerships, activating our community, run overall project management, coordinate with internal teams, and support successful execution of high-impact marquee and community-driven events. This is a big earned media, cultural activation, and co-marketing opportunity. Role Summary As the Events & Partnerships Manager, you'll be the connective tissue between our partnerships, creative, PR, and community teams - turning strategy into execution. You'll own outreach and logistics for brand and high-profile partnerships, drive host recruitment for our community events program, and help coordinate our marquee event activations. Key Responsibilities Event Activations • Support the rollout of the Builders community event program - recruiting and activating event hosts through partner networks, community outreach, and grassroots tactics • Ensure hosts are equipped with toolkits, guidelines, and engagement best practices • Coordinate high-profile marquee events in partnership with our events agency • Identify high-potential hosts and stories for PR and content amplification Partnerships Strategy & Execution • Identify and outreach to target partners: national brands (food, beverage, retail, lifestyle), community organizations, and civic groups aligned with the Builders mission • Negotiate and secure co-marketing agreements, in-kind sponsorships, and cross-promotional opportunities • Support execution of pre-identified partners • Manage ongoing partner communications, logistics, and deliverables Campaign Management • Serve as the cross-functional hub across partnerships, creative/social, PR, website/media, and Builders enterprise teams • Own timeline management, budget tracking, and detailed rollout plans • Manage campaign materials and measure impact, engagement, and performance throughout Who You Are • Experienced in events, partnerships, or marketing - you've done this before and can hit the ground running • A natural connector and relationship-builder, comfortable pitching brands and community orgs alike • Highly organized with strong project management instincts - you thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments • Energized by mission-driven “work with meaning”, and comfortable operating in a lean, collaborative team • Strong communicator, team collaborator, with strong creative instincts • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for delivering best-in-class consumer experiences that embraces trends and future-forward thinking • Able to travel to select events throughout the summer Engagement Details Hours: ~20–35 hrs/week Location: Fully remote, with travel flexibility for select events
