Job Overview
arenaflex Global Services (BGS) is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service experiences to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded. Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve, research, and resolve specific customer emails and Service Requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and ship customer orders for publications needed in physical format, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Advise customers regarding order status, changes, or improvements, and follow up on issues related to their accounts, providing proactive support and solutions
- Manage multiple orders and research lists for specific customers, maintaining organization and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Research and analyze data to identify trends and issues regarding specific customers, using insights to inform support strategies and improve customer satisfaction
- Support Piper Aircraft on Ground (AOG) activity, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer issues
- Collaborate with Customer Program Managers (CPM) to maintain reports, customer data, and manage customer expectations, fostering strong relationships and driving customer loyalty
- Assist with Customer Care responsibilities, including processing returns, generating credits/debit memos, and resolving price discrepancies, freight credits, over shipments, and short shipments
- Process material returned from customers, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of returns and refunds
- Handle discrepancies and requests sent by customers, managing issues from start to finish, and providing thorough investigations, effective communication, and timely resolution
Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in customer support or customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service experiences
- 1+ years of experience with Supply Chain processes, demonstrating an understanding of logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- 1+ years of experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, showcasing proficiency in using technology to manage customer data, orders, and inventory
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends when necessary, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to meeting customer needs
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, remaining calm, composed, and professional in the face of challenging customer interactions
- Experience with Excel, Access, or other database management tools, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and inform support strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance customer support and improve efficiency
- 5+ years of experience in an Operations, Distribution Center, Aerospace, or similar/related environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a focus on business, logistics, or a related field, showcasing a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Experience performing data analysis and troubleshooting, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions
- Experience with ERP reporting systems (i.e., Spotfire), demonstrating proficiency in using data analytics to inform business decisions and drive customer satisfaction
