Role Overview
As an Ecosystem Solution Architect (AI x Web3), you will be a trusted technical mentor for developers building on NEAR, guiding them from hackathons to fully scaled AI applications.
You will work directly with founders, developers, and teams, helping them architect, optimize, and integrate AI and blockchain technologies into real-world use cases. Your role goes beyond troubleshooting—you will be advising on AI-agent infrastructure, smart contract architecture, and scaling AI x Web3 applications in the NEAR ecosystem. This role requires deep blockchain and AI technical expertise, strong communication skills, and experience in developer enablement, startup incubation, or technical consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Developer Technical Guidance & AI x Web3 Integration
- Be a technical mentor for developers—helping them navigate NEAR’s AI and Web3 tooling, best practices, and smart contract design.
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance to founders, ensuring they can seamlessly integrate AI models, decentralized storage, and smart contracts.
- Support incubators, accelerators, and hackathons by leading technical deep dives, AI x Web3 integration sessions, and code reviews.
- Advise teams on optimizing and fine-tuning generative AI models for blockchain applications
AI & Blockchain Technical Enablement
- Design & lead technical workshops, hackathons, and deep-dive sessions to educate developers on AI x Web3 best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, SDKs, and learning resources to enhance the AI developer experience on NEAR.
- Develop startup-specific technical content, including blog posts, sample code, and reference solutions, to assist founders in solving technical challenges and accelerating time-to-market.
- Collaborate with DevRel, engineering, and product teams to address pain points, improve developer tools, and optimize AI x Web3 integrations.
- Develop reference architectures and playbooks to streamline AI agent deployment on NEAR.
Ecosystem Growth & Developer Success
- Track developer progression from hackathon participants to long-term ecosystem contributors and funded startups.
- Build structured support programs for high-potential AI x Web3 teams, ensuring they gain access to funding, ecosystem grants, and technical mentorship.
- Identify repeatable success patterns from top-performing projects and use insights to refine NEAR’s AI adoption strategy.
- Work closely with the Founder Success team to ensure AI builders receive the necessary technical and business support.
Operational & CRM Support
- Maintain and analyze developer engagement data, ensuring technical support scales effectively.
- Track developer progression & conversion rates to optimize technical engagement strategies.
- Provide structured feedback to product & engineering teams to continuously improve NEAR’s AI & Web3 developer experience.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in AI, blockchain, cloud computing, or developer solutions architecture, with hands-on work in AI model deployment and Web3 integrations.
- Expertise in smart contracts, LLM-based AI applications, decentralized storage, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Experience with AI model fine-tuning, optimization, and deployment using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar AI-native tooling.
- Proficiency in Rust, TypeScript, Solidity, or similar languages relevant to Web3 and AI integration.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols (NEAR, Ethereum, Solana, or other L1s/L2s).
- Prior involvement in startup incubation, accelerator programs, or venture-backed tech projects.
- Strong technical mentorship & communication skills—you can explain complex AI x Web3 concepts to developers at different levels.
- Strong public speaking, mentorship, and community-building experience.
