Page Unified School District #8 is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of District Receptionist / Human Resources Assistant / Guest Teacher Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our district, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative office and providing exceptional support to our staff, students, and community.

Key Responsibilities
- Reception and Communication: Answer and transfer phone calls, greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate offices.
- Human Resources Support: Assist with Human Resources department operations, including providing support to employees and applicants via phone, email, and in-person.
- Substitute Staffing: Monitor district-wide school staffing on AESOP, manage long-term absence substitute assignments, and administer school staff absence reviews for payroll purposes.
- Applicant Tracking: Review applications, conduct interviews, screenings, and check references on all substitute and substitute aide applicants.
- New Hire Processing: Complete hiring process for substitutes and substitute aides, including orientation, Employee Handbook review, Aesop training, and processing new hire paperwork.
- Data Management: Enter and maintain all certified and classified employee data in AESOP and Visions.
- Clerical Duties: File correspondence and other records, update job descriptions, post open positions, and perform other related administrative tasks.
- Special Projects: Assist in fingerprinting new employees and volunteers, distribute certification documents and/or forms, and maintain conference room scheduling.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proficient in standard office software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff, students, and community members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or Human Resources role.
- Familiarity with AESOP and Applicant Tracking systems.
- Knowledge of education industry and school district operations.
