The Role
As Director, Product Management - IoT Solutions, you'll be part of our construction technology team, leading the development of products that directly impact construction trade contractors. You'll work closely with key software development partners, business stakeholders, and our VP, Software Product Management to drive successful strategy, execution, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and own the product vision and strategy for IoT solutions, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with software development partners, business stakeholders, and other teams to drive product development, launch, and growth.
- Drive Customer Advocacy: Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas to improve customer experience, drive growth, and increase market share.
- Develop and Manage Product Roadmaps: Create and prioritize product roadmaps and release plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Establish and Track KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a seasoned product management leader with a strong background in IoT solutions, software product management, and leadership. Here are the essential qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of Software (SaaS) Product Management Experience: Proven experience in software product management, including web and mobile-based IoT solutions.
- 4+ Years of Go-to-Market Strategy Experience: Successful experience in commercializing and deploying effective go-to-market strategies for enterprise software applications.
- Bachelor's Degree: Required, with an MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- 6+ Years of Leadership Experience: Direct reports under your guidance and leadership, including hiring and developing senior managers and individual contributors.
- Understanding of IoT Technologies: Knowledge of wireless network technologies, IoT platforms, protocols, architectures, and devices, as well as data analysis and cloud computing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.
