About the Role: Director, Product Management for Capital One Software Revenue
We're seeking a visionary Director of Product Management to lead the tech stack that enables the go-to-market capability of our B2B SaaS business, Capital One Software. As a key member of the Revenue Operations team, you'll drive innovative change focused on accelerating sales and enabling revenue growth. You'll lead a multi-functional team of product managers and software engineers to deliver a cutting-edge revenue technology platform that offers a seamless experience for our field team and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Enhancements: Collaborate with design, product, and technical stakeholders to identify high-value enhancements, define requirements, and deliver measurable results to our Field Associates.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Work with Field and Business stakeholders to build a roadmap that supports a growth agenda and foundational needs for a well-managed platform.
- Expand Value: Continuously identify opportunities to improve and expand the value from our platform, finding new uses to solve new problems, bringing valuable external tools into our environment, and creatively meeting business requirements for high-value initiatives.
- Transformational Leadership: Establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to drive alignment, secure resources, and overcome impediments.
- Human-Centered Approach: Deeply immerse yourself in understanding internal and external customers, employing empathy and design thinking to define broad-scale solutions that provide breakthrough leverage.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or military experience, with at least 7 years of experience in digital product management.
- A technical understanding of CRM tools, with Salesforce Sales Cloud experience being a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems with cross-functional stakeholders, developing strategic roadmaps, and managing the day-to-day work for an engineering team.
- Experience working with Engineering, Design, Business stakeholders, and/or Field Sales Associates, as well as managing multiple technology vendors.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and bring groups together with different perspectives.
- A passion for the end-user, with a relentless focus on identifying unmet needs and translating them into delightful experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- An MBA or Master's degree.
- 5 years of experience in Agile product management.
- 5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into digital products that accelerate revenue growth.
