Job Description
As a Live Chat Agent at Delta Airlines, you will be the first point of contact for our customers seeking assistance with their travel inquiries and needs. You will provide exceptional customer service through our live chat platform, ensuring that each interaction is handled with professionalism and care. Your goal will be to enhance the customer experience and foster loyalty to the Delta brand.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, providing accurate information and solutions.
- Assist customers with booking questions, flight changes, cancellations, and baggage inquiries.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Document customer interactions and feedback in our customer relationship management system.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and promotions to provide accurate information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a remote environment.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong typing ability (minimum 40 wpm).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
