Key Responsibilities
- Enter claims and eligibility records into careerzynith’s proprietary processing system with a minimum of 7,000 keystrokes per hour while maintaining at least 95% accuracy.
- Review, reconcile, and correct data when claims are rejected, ensuring that all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Determine the appropriate routing for inaccurate or incomplete data—whether it requires updating, escalation, or adjudication.
- Update claim information that originates from optical scanning or manual data entry, guaranteeing consistency across all records.
- Maintain organized departmental files, both electronic and hard‑copy, to support audit readiness and efficient retrieval.
- Operate office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners in accordance with careerzynith’s security and confidentiality policies.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners via telephone and written correspondence, adhering to proper grammar, punctuation, and etiquette.
- Participate in periodic data‑entry testing administered by Human Resources to verify ongoing proficiency.
- Assist in continuous‑improvement initiatives by providing feedback on system usability and workflow bottlenecks.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Minimum of one year in an office environment, preferably with exposure to data entry, claims processing, or records management.
- Typing Proficiency: Ability to achieve at least 7,000 keystrokes per hour with a 95% accuracy rate (approximately 6,650 correct keystrokes per hour).
- Testing Requirement: Successful completion of a data‑entry assessment administered by Human Resources within the past 12 months (waived for candidates who have previously held a qualifying position).
- Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating Windows‑based applications, basic spreadsheet functions, and proprietary claim entry software.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information clearly and courteously.
