Summary of Responsibilities:
Perform contract management tasks on low to medium complexity projects, as assigned.
Lead negotiations for low to medium complexity projects with moderate to high management support.
Develop and review Agreements including Master Services Agreements (Client or Labcorp template).
Develop and apply knowledge of Labcorp and key standard contract provisions to insure proper contract terms for all types of studies
Follow up on outstanding contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines and to minimize business and legal risk.
Serve as contract management lead for strategic accounts.
Work cross-functionally with Contract Management, Legal, Proposal Management, Finance, Commercial Development and Sales teams to resolve contract issues in a timely manner.
Assist management and subject matter experts (SME) in maintaining harmonized contract processes and client relationships.
Support and update all applicable systems as assigned (e.g. Salesforce, CMS, contracts database, etc.) to provide accurate and up-to-date information on contract status and details in a timely manner.
Participate in process improvement initiatives intended to improve global delivery of contracts.
Adhere to Contract Management policies and processes.
Perform accurate data entry into Salesforce, CMS and/or other tools required for reporting.
Provide accurate updates on all outstanding contractual documents to management as required.
Participate in project review meetings as necessary.
Assist/mentor junior staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience:
2 years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred with minimum of 1 years of contract management related experience (or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize.
Demonstrated teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in Excel and Word (intermediate).
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining professionalism.
Proven ability to work remotely/independently.
Experience and comfort in a high volume, fast paced environment is essential.
Ability to navigate client contractual documents (CDAs, MSAs).
Ability to effectively negotiate internally.
Additional Skills / Education Desired:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
