THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Content & Communications Coordinator who lives and breathes social media, creates content that stops the scroll, and understands what it takes to build a beauty brand that people fall in love with.
This is a hands-on, creative role. You’ll own the day-to-day of our social media presence, shoot and edit content, manage our community, build email campaigns, and help us find and collaborate with the right content creators. You’ll collaborate with the marketing department and have real ownership of how Beguile shows up online.
We need someone who’s proactive, full of ideas, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do. If you’re the kind of person who spots a trend before it peaks and already knows how to make it work for a brand, we want to hear from you.
THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE ROLE BUT YOU MUST RESIDE IN LAGOS.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Plan, create, and schedule social media content across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
Shoot high-quality photo and video content on iPhone; you know your angles, lighting, and how to make product look elevated
Edit short-form video content using CapCut or similar tools with a strong eye for pacing, transitions, and storytelling
Design on-brand graphics using Canva or similar tools for social posts, stories, and campaign assets
Manage and grow our social media accounts; you care about reach, engagement, and building a real community
Respond to DMs and comments with personality and wit, keeping the brand voice consistent and engaging
Scout, vet, and coordinate with UGC creators and influencers who align with the Beguile aesthetic
Create and manage email campaigns (experience with Klaviyo is a bonus)
Stay ahead of social and beauty trends, bringing fresh content ideas to the table before being asked
Monitor content performance and share insights that inform what we do next
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in social media content creation, ideally within beauty, fragrance, fashion, or luxury lifestyle
Proficiency in Canva or similar tools for graphic design and visual content creation
Advanced experience with CapCut for short-form video editing
Confident shooting high-quality content on iPhone ( this is non-negotiable).
Strong understanding of short-form video, creative storytelling, and what makes content perform
A natural sense of wit and personality in written content and community engagement
Experience scouting and managing UGC talent and creator collaborations
Working knowledge of email marketing platforms
Self-starter energy; proactive, organised, creative, and always thinking one step ahead
BONUS POINTS
Experience working with a DTC or ecommerce brand
Understanding of fragrance as a category and how to sell a sensory product through visual content
Familiarity with Shopify and how content drives conversion
