Key Responsibilities
- Assist adult individuals with disabilities with daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records
- Support clients in achieving their goals, such as developing life skills and participating in community activities
- Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively with other Lifesteps staff to ensure comprehensive care
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Be able to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Be able to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, previous experience as a home health aide or direct support professional is highly valued. If you have a background in healthcare or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
