Handle complex commercial insurance claims from start to finish, including investigation, evaluation, and resolution. Provide timely and accurate legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on commercial insurance matters. Collaborate with other members of the claims team to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims. Conduct legal research and analysis to support the development of business strategies and decision-making. Prepare and review legal documents, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and court filings. Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, and other parties involved in the claims process to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice. Participate in meetings and trainings to share knowledge and expertise with team members. Maintain accurate and organized records of claims and legal activities. Represent the company’s interests in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
