You combine deep market knowledge with commercial awareness to curate compelling auctions that attract engaged bidders and trusted sellers. You play a key role in strengthening our presence in the Japanese fashion market by ensuring authenticity, transparency and strong seller relationships.What You’ll DoEvaluate submitted lots by reviewing descriptions, images and details, and provide fair market value estimatesCurate and optimise weekly fashion auctions to maximise quality, bidder interest and sell‑throughBuild and manage relationships with sellers in Japan, guiding them to create strong and compliant listingsIdentify and onboard high‑quality sellers through your professional network, trade fairs and fashion communitiesSafeguard authenticity, transparency and platform standards across all listingsSupport Customer Service in dispute cases and partner with Marketing and Sales to increase visibility and engagementContribute to strategies that expand Catawiki’s footprint in the Japanese fashion marketRequirementsWhat You’ll BringDeep knowledge of the Japanese and international fashion market, particularly within the luxury bags categoryExperience in luxury fashion retail, appraisal or curation in a commercial or customer‑facing roleStrong understanding of valuation and authenticity within luxury pre‑owned fashionNative‑level Japanese and professional proficiency in English, both written and spokenStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputesSolid computer skills and ability to work efficiently with digital toolsClear passion for fashion and maintaining high quality standardsWhere you'll Be:The role is based in Japan with a fully remote work‑from‑home arrangement.
