Responsibilities
- Process and pay various types of invoices for all entities under the direction of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payments for the health system
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient financial operations
- Foster positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Skills
- High School Graduate required
- Minimum of one (1) year related bookkeeping experience
- Ability to perform a full anatomical range of motion and withstand long periods of sitting, standing, or walking
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Completion of one (1) year of college, including Accounting I or Elementary Accounting preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with financial software or accounting systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends, as necessary
