• 2 or more years of experience using AutoCAD or similar software is necessary
• Pay is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• No remote as this is an onsite position

This full time, permanent 1st Shift AutoCAD Design Engineer - Architectural & Structural Steel opportunity is at a stable, casual manufacturer located in a newly built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. • Creating 3D models and production drawings for custom, large-scale motorized door systems designed for industrial environments
• Work on custom-designed projects tailored to meet specific client needs, requiring expertise in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Produce detailed technical documentation for fabrication and installation processes
• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure accuracy and quality in the design and production of motorized door systems

Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of:

• An Associate's degree with an emphasis on architectural and structural steel design
• 2 or more years of experience in design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other similar 2D CAD drafting software is required
• Experience in 3D modeling using tools like SolidWorks or Tekla
• Understanding of electrical schematics is preferred, but not mandatory. Possess a solid work history
• Being a US citizen or green card holder
• Having a residence within a 45-minute drive

Expected salary: $55000 - 65000 per year
